Returns Policy

You can return your purchase, for any reason, as long as you contact us within 14 days of receiving, and you then have another 14 days to return the item. Please note that you are responsible for the cost of returning items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error. All return items must include lamps supplied with the fitting, be in the original unmarked packaging; and not have been installed, used, or modified. 

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please inform us immediately so that we can arrange replacements.

Non-returnable Items- we cannot accept returns on some items such as those specially made to order, or clearance items.

What If My Order Arrives Damaged?

We will make every effort to help you obtain the necessary replacements as quickly as possible at no extra cost to you. Occasionally we may ask you to send us an image of the damage as this often helps us process a claim with a manufacturer or courier.

What If My Order Is Faulty?

All of our products come with a minimum 12 months guarantee, and in such circumstances, we will arrange collection and repair or replace the item.

When Will I Receive My Order?

When an item is in stock at KES Lighting, we will dispatch within 24 hours for delivery to you the following day, excluding weekend delivery.
When the item is in stock with our suppliers, where possible, we will arrange for the goods to be delivered directly to you so you should receive your goods within 2/3 days in the majority of cases. If the item is not of high value, your goods may be delivered to us first and then sent to you, so please expect delivery within 10 days. When neither KES Lighting nor the manufacturer has the item in stock, we will inform you of the expected delivery date.
Handmade items are made to order, so delivery can be 2/3 weeks from Italy or Austria. Please also be aware there are occasional delays for items imported from Europe through the Channel Tunnel.

We will not be held liable for any costs incurred due to late delivery or goods arriving damaged. In the majority as cases goods are delivered on time and in perfect condition, however since delivery is outside of our control we can never guarantee a delivery date. We always advise our customers not to arrange an electrician until their order has arrived and condition checked. 

Understanding Brightness

When we all used incandescent bulbs it was so much easier to understand how bright a light bulb would be. Your choice was limited to a 40, 60, 75 and 100 watt bulbs, and a particular wattage gave out roughly the same amount of light irrespective of who made it; it's just unfortunate they wasted energy generating heat!

With the introduction of CFL and LED technology, understand brightness (measured in lumens) become confusing because these light bulbs give out the same brightness for a fraction of the energy consumed (measured in watts).

So when you need to know how bright a light is say hello to Lumens and goodbye to Watts.
