I am so very impressed

My Mum purchased a Chrystal standard lamp and although I though it to be a little expensive at the time, it was so unusual and looked beautiful online. The lamp arrived directly from the supplier very quickly and was extremely well wrapped with complete instructions. The lamp is a real talking point with everyone who sees it. OK so that bit is not about the service but the delivery was followed up by an email asking whether we were completely satisfied with our purchase and the service offered - which I have to say was sent from a real person, this completely exceeded my expectations! Last week I visited the Grand Designs exhibition and looked for similar lamp, firstly, we found nothing quite as beautiful as Mums purchase and secondly, Chrystal standard lamps were very much more expensive than Mum paid. I am still so very excited about the lamp and service we received that I am going to purchase a matching table lamp for my birthday. Thanks what a lovely customer experience :-)

Yankee fan across the POND

We live in Connecticut, USA on the water. Last October, Super Storm Sandy caused incredible damage to our home and our neighborhood. In attempting to rebuild, we were able to recover 3 out of 4 lights which were on the outside of our home. When we attempted to replace the 4, we found that the Italian company, Prisma, no longer had any retailers in the USA. A search brought me to KESLighting and to a sales representative extrordinaire! Not only did KESLighting have the exact model, but he had their techies reconfigure the company web site so that I could pay via PAYPal and have the fixture shipped directly to me. They even made sure it was sent FedEx to expedite matters. I am happy to say that the fixture was delivered yesterday and is being installed today. While I may not need to shop across the Pond again, I greatly appreciate KESLighting for helping us get our home put back in order again.

My search for a tiffany lamp base!

I was given a lovely 18in.diam Tiffany Butterfly/Sunflower Lamp Shade - It was bought at an auction - all I needed now was to locate the right base to put it on !! I googled the only mark on the shade: Interiors 1900 and up popped Kes Lighting. That evening I received an immediate reply from my email enquiry, he emailed me pictures of suitable bases, guiding me through sizes and dimensions - and within one week my lamp is complete. It looks magnificent! I am as pleased as punch with the service I had from Kes Lighting - there was great communication throughout and I would highly recommend the company to anybody with a similar request. You only need to speak to them.I used to own a flower shop before I retired so am well used to giving good service - I am very pleased to give another business a well deserved pat on the back!

Fast, friendly & efficient service

Order lights on Sunday, received follow up emails immediately to confirm order and payment. This was followed by emails to say order processed and when order would be received. Goods arrived as indicated very carefully wrapped. Finally an email to see if everything was in order. All emails were personally addressed with a named individual to contact if there were any problems or queries. Very much appreciated. An excellent service. Quick, efficient and courteous

I bought a coloured glass outside lantern from Kes Lighting. Their communication is fantastic, as well as an order confirmation I received an email to welcome me as a new customer. Then further emails to advise as to when my item had been dispatched and was due to arrive. It was packaged very securely and the light itself is lovely. Fantastic company!

I ordered two table lamps during the Christmas period which arrived quickly much to my surprise. Unfortunately one lamp arrived damaged during transit. After ordering the lamp on Thursday 17 January we were delighted when it arrived at 8 am on Monday morning the 21 January - we were quite surprised because there was over 4" of snow and we'd thought we may have wait until the roads were clear. Lighting with a difference

This order was delivered on time and as expected. Whilst waiting for the arrival of my lamps I was kept informed on a daily basis. The package arrived as expected without any damage. I am absolutely delighted with the product and the care taken with the safe packaging. My only comment about the material used to pad the inside of the box is that the bits of recycling paper was so fine and numerous it created a big mess all over my apartment and I am still finding bits. As a suggestion maybe this material could be made in more manageable sized pieces so it is easy to clear up afterwards. I would definitely use this company again and recommend to my friends.

Bespoke leaded pillar lantern

We were struggling to match some existing leaded lanterns we have. We could find the right base but the leaded lamp shades are now part of a wall fitting and not the pillar fitting we neededzs Kes lighting went of of the way to arrange with the supplier the manufacture of the base and lantern we wanted. All this at no extra cost and delivered in two days. Great service and really helpful. A rarity these days. As Basil Fawlty says "we should have them stuffed!" Well done and thanks again.

I looked at their products on line and had some questions about the lights that I wanted to buy. The girl who answered the 'phone couldn't have been more helpful and called back within about half and hour with the details I needed. She was able to tell me exactly which day they would be delivered, which is when they arrived. I then received a message from KES later that day to check that they had arrived safely - brilliant customer service and I would definitely use them again if they have what I am looking for.

Fast, efficient and helpful

When I called Kes Lighting the lady I spoke to was very helpful and knowledgable. She explained the items would be delivered directly from Spain and sure enough they arrived sooner than the delivery date she has given. The items were packaged extremely well and everything was as she said. I also had several follow up emails to check I was happy with my order which was great as the supplier had sent them direct so they wanted to be sure everything arrived complete and on time. What brilliant, amazing service!

With the usual frustration of endless internet searching and calls to companies, whose staff have no interest at all in your business,with very little optimism, I rang Kes Lighting late on the Friday afternoon before Christmas to enquire about wall lights I urgently needed. From that moment, my faith in human beings was restored - there are still people/companies out there who actually care about your business! It would take too long to explain the lengths Anne went to to make sure during that first phone call that my order could be fulfilled in time for Christmas but, when I put down the phone, I knew without a doubt that I had reached the right place. Nothing is too much trouble, you will receive knowledgeable, personal and caring advice,goods are despatched immediately and any subsquent questions/queries are responded to as if you were an old valued customer. I just wish I needed more lighting as this is a company I wish I'd found years ago. I could not recommend them highly enough.

Excellent service

I would describe my experience of shopping with Kes Lighting as surprisingly unstressful and extremely positive. The staff were friendly and obliging in emails seeking information and when I asked for the items to be delivered in time to be given as a birthday present, they arrived in plenty of time, despite being given an initial date that might have been too late. The items arrived securely packaged so they were in one piece, unlike the item I ordered form John Lewis around the same time which arrived damaged, twice! The products look and feel like they are very good quality, though I can't tell yet whether they will perform as they should as they are solar lights and have yet to be put outside. However, from the experience I have had with Kes so far I have no doubt they will rectify any problem as soon as it's reported. I have already recommended this company to family members who admired the lights at the birthday party and I intend to buy from them again.

Having found the light for which I needed a replacement part on line, I telephoned the company and spoke to someone who gave the impression they would be delighted to help me. They contacted the supplier in Spain and got back to me the next morning with the price of the part. On confirming my desire to purchase it, they arranged for delivery directly to my home address, included in the price, and the large glass part arrived in a week (despite it being just prior to Christmas)in perfect condition. I could not have asked for better service in any way.

It was a pleasure to deal with this company

We were kept informed about the progress of our order and it arrived on the stated day. Very well packed so no damage in transit. A little tricky to install but we have had enough experience to cope and the result is just perfect. The gold is lovely and bright, as gold should be, and the crystals are beautifully clear (the other chandelier in the room will now have to be taken apart and given a good clean to match the brightness) We will certainly return to this website for any further lights.

Great customer service

Can't fault the guys at KES Lighting for both their range of products and outstanding customer service. Anyone can supply you with a product but customer service is everything if you have a problem. I had no problems whatsoever. Placed my order and before my money was taken I received a 'personal' email to tell me that the lights were not in stock and would take a couple of weeks to get in and asked me whether I wanted to proceed with the order or cancel. Now most places wouldn't tell you that and the only way that you would know was when you called to find out where your order was ! Received another email telling me that the lights were now in stock and had been despatched and that if I had any issues whatsoever then to give them a call and they would sort out any issues without delay. Finally, one last email just to check that I was happy with everything. Fantastic service and highly recommended. Thanks Guys !

Fantastic and refreshing customer service

I am rarely inspired to leave reviews on shopping experiences but my dealings with KES lighting are more than worthy of note. Their communication was fast and friendly with nice personal touches - no automated acknowledgements. When our lights arrived, my heart sank when I discovered one of the pieces of glass had broken in transit. Here comes the real test of customer service! However, I had no grounds for concern. KES were fantastic and organized a replacement part immediately and it arrived within a few days. I would have no hesitation recommending KES to others and will certainly return in the future.

Brilliant lighting company

We would recommend this company without reservation. Best price for the lighting we wanted drew us to the site as first time customers to the company.Their site was easy to use and gave all the information we needed. What completely surprised us though was the quality of service we received. We had a very friendly and personal acknowledgement of the order..then an update when it was sent to us and within 5 minutes of delivery we had an e mail to ask if we were happy with the order and was there anything else they could do to help. Great company to deal with

I ordered an LED light from this company for my newly built porch. Unfortunately it was out of stock but the company kept me up to date at all times and gave me the option to cancel, exchange or wait. What a helpful company!

I needed 2 lights by the end of the week so I called Kes to see if this was possible. The lady on the phone said she would check the supplier and call back. She did this within half an hour and promised the lights would be delivered on Friday. They arrived on Friday and she even called to see that we had received them. Great service!! I will certainly be using this company again. The prices seemed to be very competitive as well which is also so important in this climate. The lights were well packaged so no problem with broken shades which has happened to us before when we used another company. As a parting shot once the electrician had installed the lights he commented on how easy they were to fit. Good to keep the tradesmen happy as well.

Customer service at KES is second to none!

I've just completed the refurbishment of a flat in London. All the lighting was chosen from KES on-line including some items which came from abroad. The builders insisted that all materials were to be delivered prior to the start date so the crate of light fittings was not opened for nearly two months. Two of the fittings were found to be broken but even after this length of time KES obtained replacements for me at no extra cost. Then, when we had trouble with bulbs blowing in the three bedroom lights KES helped out here too and contacted the manufacturers for advice and replacements for us. The staff have always phoned back when they said they would. They were unfailingly courteous and patient which was such a relief for someone who does not understand much about electrics! Nothing has seemed too much trouble and I have found their customer service second to none. I would recommend other firms to go to KES for customer service training! They are brilliant! JAH London

Amazing, Fantastic, Brilliant, Stunning!

We have just completed a self build in Carmarthenshire and came across 'KES Lighting' on the internet. We decided to visit their show room which was the best decision that we ever made. The lady who served us gave us her undivided attention and was extremely patient looking up various different lights for more than three hours, at no point did we feel pressured into buying anything and there were no pestering phone calls during the days following our visit. We kept in contact by email and every query or question was answered within minutes and they gave us amazing prices. Yesterday we finished fitting all our lights, which all arrived promptly and in perfect condition but more importantly look stunning completing the look of our new home. Very helpful & great service

I was looking to find a third lighting fitting to match two that I already had and found KES via a Google search for the make/model. I had not heard of them before. My schedule had tight deadlines so I emailed KES to see if they had stock available. After a number of somewhat frustrating experiences with OTHER suppliers who had not bothered to reply to my enquiries, I half expected not to hear back, but I was pleasantly surprised to find a very helpful email from KES in my inbox the following day. After a few rounds of email questions and answers (all of the latter being equally prompt and informative), I placed my order. Communication between placing the order and actual delivery was also very good, with regular status updates on payment acceptance, order confirmation, processing and despatch. Delivery arrived on time and in good condition. After delivery I found I had some further questions so emailed again and again received a prompt, pleasant and helpful reply. Quick, Courteous Service

I bought an EGLO three lamp rise and fall ceiling light for our dining/snooker table from KES. In addition to offering the lowest price I could find, I found them to be most attentive after the purchase was complete. We received accurate delivery information and sincere enquiries after the delivery asking whether all had arrived safely and on time. The lamp arrived well packed and complete with all required instructions and parts. The only thing missing was the bulbs (not included). I had not understood at the time of purchase that the lamp would not function as a rise and fall lamp once installed - it just offers the feature of being able to set the height when you install it. In practice though, this has not turned out to be an issue. After a simple installation, and a trip out to buy the bulbs, all was working as it should. Looks good in the room, and the extra light might even have improved the snooker. Good quality product, fair price, good supplier. I would recomment them to anybody.

Great choice, great prices

Second time I bought from KesLighting. Service is great and the choice is vast. The prices are the cheapest I found. They have good quality leds. Their choice ranges from everything be it modern to classic and contemporary.I ordered the items and they where out of stock but KesLighting immediately called their supplier and informed me when they would be available and they matched the date. The on-line catalogue was simple and, with so much choice available, we soon found what we liked. We hadn't found anything before and were thinking we never would in a sensible price range. After finding the chandeliers I wanted for my dinng room and lounge at my local lighing retailer, whilst browsing the internet, I found the very same ones on the KES lighting website much cheaper. I rang their customer service department, as the side lights I also wanted were not listed, I was informed that they were also available and was quoted £90 cheaper than the quote from my local store. I received my lights 2 days later, one chandelier was out of stock, but was advised it would be sent direct from manufacturer the following week, which arrived as promised. As mentioned in previous reviews, all lights arrive packaged really well and delivered in the time scale quoted. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone wanting quality lighting at very commpetative prices.

This was the first time I purchased from KES Lighting. I found them through google shopping, when I was looking to purchase specific spotlights. I chose them as they had good reviews and were the most economic (including shipping costs). I had found the spotlights on the high street as well and they were significantly more expensive. I was delighted to receive the lights within the specified time. It was great to be kept up to date with dispatch, estimated delivery day/time etc. It meant I was not stuck inside the house all day waiting for the package. My Wife and I visited the shop after spending many hours on the net looking for lights. As we were travelling 60 miles we phoned first to ensure that the shop had indeed got a good selection of lights which the internet stated. ''Nothing worse than getting to a shop after travelling distance just to find it a waste of time''! However, we were highly delighted with both the selection of lights and indeed the knowledge and assistance that the staff gave. We were in the shop over two hours! Yes, we are finnicky but we know what we want when we see it. On this occasion although there were many lights that would have been more than adequate we could not make up our mind. After two hours you would expect staff to be a little peeved but we found just the opposite. Staff, expressed gratitude for our interest and stated that please go back on the net as there are many more lights to choose from and indeed if we saw any just give them a call and they would get them ordered to the shop so we could view without obligtion. After a couple of weeks of still looking we found the ideal lights and rang our order through to the shop. Arranged a suitable day for them to be delivered to our house. The lights arrived without damage and indeed on the correct day as arranged. Additionaly, we have had e mails to check they arrived and that we were happy. I used the live chat to ask about bulbs expecting the usual rubbish, but was surprised how helpful the lady was on the other end. They also gave me a discount code to use with my order which saved me a bit of money. Nice to see even on the internet you can still have a bit of barter fun! My husband and I were doing a full kitchen rebuild and we found on KES Lighting website several kitchen lamps that are original, provide good lighting and don't cost a fortune. We placed our order for one of them and a couple of days later we got out lamp delivered at home. The entire buy process and deliver was followed up by email by their customer support. Because the kitchen was still being built, we only tested the lamp over a week after of being delivered, when the repairs finished. Unfortunately there was something wrong with the lamp and it wasn't working. I sent an email to KES Lighting about the problem and got an answer within the hour, and the shipping of a replacing lamp and collecting of the broken one. The replacing lamp arrived quite fast and the same courier took back the faulty one. KES Lighting's customer support was one of the best I've ever encountered: fast answering, solving the problem promptly, never leaving us without an answer. They don't make a big deal about posting abroad & everything is very well packaged.On one occasion, when the bulbs they'd promised hadn't gone into the parcel, they posted them on as soon as I 'phoned without any problem.

"Superb service"

I placed an order with Kes Lighting for the first time last week. The parcel arrived undamaged in less than seven days. Throughout the process I was kept up to date both via the net and via the tracking code I got. Likewise, after sales service was outstanding. Were it not for the unfavourable exchange rate between the euro and pound sterling, I would be a frequent customer with Kes Lighting. Kes Lighting's service was extremely swift and the personnel was kind and seemed very motivated. My only "complaint" is that their delivery costs were rather high in my opinion; usually the costs are about 15 euros within EU, but I had to pay £40. Due to the unfavourable exchange rate between euros and pound sterling, shopping in countries using euros is cheaper for persons like me, residing in Finland but having spent several years in the UK. - marthaagneta

"Mantra Pendant Lights"

Several websites were offering these lights, however as Kes Lighting were offering a voucher if you spend over a certain amount we decided to use them. Also we had a couple of questions about the lights. The response to my email was very fast. I originally spoke to Josh (I think this was his name!) who was very helpful & rang me back with the answers to our queries.The lights arrived when we were told. They were packed extremely well. Now are light are up they look even better! So overall the service we received from Kes Lighting was brilliant!! From our initial contact and throughout the time emails from Steve which kept us updated was really really good. When we had our extension done we had a lot of help from the staff at KES, they helped us choose the best way to light each room as some of them only had skylights. The staff were extremely helpful & very experienced so we knew we were in good hands. They suggested ideas we would never of thought of, like a mirror with lights for in the bathroom as its small. We fitted out our house with inside and outside lighting and the both the service during the sale and after was superb.In particular the way the showroom is run everyone wants to not only assist you but learn by checking out any questions you raise. Although our purchases have been over a long time whenever we call they are friendly and remember you. Good old fashioned service in the 21st century. Recently we decided to start changing to low cost lighting and by visiting KES got the necessary advice to ensure we purchased the most up to date lights. We live some 50 miles away from the showroom and still consider it worthwhile to make the trip to see their range of lighting and we are sure if you were to buy on the internet you will not be disappointed by their service.

I'm absolutely delighted with my Elstead Luis Victor table lamp in aubergine which I purchased recently from KES Lighting. After initially being told that this lamp would have to be ordered from their suppliers, they emailed back to say they had one on display in perfect condition, and could offer me 20% discount. I decided to accept this offer and telephoned them to order it. It arrived safely the next day and now takes pride of place in my entrance hall. I spent ages looking for new garden lighting having initially ordered elsewhere and the order was automatically cancelled without my knowing. I went to KES and they were so much more helpful than anywhere else I had been and also had a much better range at all price levels. I ended up saving over £200 on the lighting compared to my previous order. They delivered when they said they would and called to update me when they said they would. I would definitely go back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Went into the store and trying to liaise with my husband who was at home over choice of lighting. KES helpfully e-miled to him pictures of all the lights shortlisted so that I could dicuss them with him over the phone. We ordered 2 Eseo Halogen Ceiling lights from KES Lighting. One of the lights was broken and KES promptly delivered a replacement from the manufacturer except the 2 replacements sent were 'smashed' by the couriers. Third time lucky despite a couple of months passing. Despite this, I can't fault KES - they were helpful, responsive and had a sense of humour sending me pictures of a glass in bits with fragile warning labels. The lighting I wanted for my new kitchen was not available for 8 – 12 weeks at another lighting company – Surfing the net I came across Kes lighting – with such a wide choice I decided to ring up and explain the type of lighting I was looking for. I was very fortunate to speak to a very knowledgeable young lady (Anne Mckenna) Anne was so helpful suggesting different lighting. I suddenly realised she actually suggested the original lighting I was looking for which I was unable to obtain. Anne rang Endon Lighting direct for me and was able to obtain two of the lights within two days – the customer service was just first class. The lights are great, unfortunately there was a fault with the bulbs but once again Anne and a colleague came up trumps and new light bulbs were organised. If you are looking for any lighting I can thoroughly recommend you give Kes Lighting the opportunity in sorting any lighting out, their prices are very competitive too!-Marcia Bodenham

Renovating our house!

My husband and I recently bought a property in the West Midlands which we are in the process of renovating and have bought ALL our light fixtures from KesLighting. After extensive research on the internet KesLighting was one of three (3) lighting suppliers I was looking at utilising. Being quite prepared to shop around and split my order between different suppliers, upon contact with KesLighting I have bought every fixture both internal and external from them. I can not speak highly enough of the KesLighting team and in particular Josh and Steve who have been a pleasure to deal with.
