Astro Lighting

British lighting brand Astro is the brainchild of John Fearon and James Bassant, whose commitment to great lighting design, quality and precision has resulted in a dazzling, modern collection. In business since 1997, one of Astro's first creations was The Arc spotlight, which combined new technology with a modern, architectural look and set the tone for what would follow. One area in which Astro truly excels is bathroom lighting. This lighting brand has some of the largest collections of bathroom lights in the world. It is also a force to be reckoned with if you are seeking an extra-special table/floor lamp, spotlights or track lighting for your home. It’s vast outdoor and exterior lighting collection should definitely not be missed.

Astro Recommendations & Buying Advice

Is KES Lighting an authorised UK stockist of Astro Lighting?

Yes. KES Lighting is a long-established, authorised stockist of Astro Lighting, currently carrying over 890 products from the brand online. The team can help you find the right Astro fitting for your project, whether you are buying online or visiting the Warwickshire showroom.
Where can I buy Astro lighting in the UK?

You can buy Astro Lighting online at KES, browsing the full range on our website any day of the week, or in person at our large Warwickshire showroom, open Monday to Friday and just off the M1, M6 and M69. Prefer to talk it through? Call our lighting team on +44 (0)24 76 317 022 for advice on the right Astro fitting.
What is Astro Lighting known for?

Astro is a British architectural lighting brand, particularly strong in bathroom and IP-rated lighting. At KES you will find its range spanning downlights, track lighting, wall lights and outdoor fittings, with the team on hand to advise on the right Astro design and IP rating for your room.
What IP rating do I need for an Astro bathroom or outdoor light?

It depends where the fitting is going. Inside a bath or shower (Zone 0), you need low voltage lighting rated at least IP67. Above the bath or within 0.6m of it (Zones 1 and 2), IP44 is the minimum. For exposed outdoor Astro fittings, look for IP65 or better, and IP44 is fine if the spot is sheltered. Browse our bathroom lighting range for IP-rated Astro options, or ask the team if you are unsure.
Can I get spare parts or replacement glass for Astro fittings?

Yes, in many cases. Contact the team with the product code from your fitting and we can source spare parts, such as diffusers, covers or replacement glass, from Astro where they are available. Not every part can be supplied on its own, so the team will confirm before you order.
How long does delivery take for Astro lighting?

Astro lighting held in stock is delivered in 2 to 7 working days by tracked courier. Delivery is free on UK mainland orders over £99 (excluding the Scottish Highlands); orders under that are £7.75. See our delivery information for Northern Ireland, the Highlands and Islands, and international rates.
Is there a guarantee on Astro lighting?

Yes. Every Astro fitting bought from KES carries a 12-month guarantee as standard. Some manufacturers offer a longer guarantee, typically 2 to 5 years, on certain products, and this is noted on the individual product page, so check there for the exact term on the Astro fitting you are buying.
