A link is only worth what it converts
The commission rate is the easy part to compare. What actually decides your earnings is whether the click turns into an order.

One price for everyone
There is no trade tier and no code to hunt for. The price your reader sees is the price the trade pays. That matters more than it sounds, because the moment somebody opens a new tab to search for a voucher, your link is usually the thing they lose.

The baskets are large
Our average order is over £300, so a typical referral is worth about £12 to you. Worth doing the sum before you compare our rate with a higher percentage of a much smaller basket.

We read every application ourselves. We are not counting followers. We are looking for an audience that is in the middle of a room, a renovation or a move, and trusts what you tell them.

Before you apply
Does it cost anything to join?
No. It is free to join and free to stay in. There is nothing to buy, no fee, and no minimum number of sales you have to hit to keep your place.
How and when do I get paid?
Commission is confirmed once the order is complete, then paid monthly. The programme runs on UpPromote, so you get your own dashboard showing clicks, orders and what you are owed.
Do I get a discount code for my readers?
No, and that is deliberate. We charge the same price to the public and the trade, so there is no code to hand out. It works in your favour: your readers have no reason to go looking for one, which is where affiliate sales are usually lost.
What can I link to?
Any page on keslighting.co.uk. A single product, a collection, one of our buying guides or just the home page. Once somebody has clicked your link, anything they go on to buy is tracked.
How long do I have after somebody clicks?
30 days. If a reader clicks your link and buys anything in the following 30 days, the commission is yours, whether or not they came back through your link the second time.
Can I earn commission on my own orders?
No. Self referral is not allowed and those orders are rejected. If you are buying lighting for yourself, or for clients on a project, speak to the sales team about the right sort of account instead.
Is anything excluded?
Commission is paid across the range. VAT and delivery are not commissionable, and commission is reversed if an order is cancelled or returned.
Who do I ask if I am stuck?
Once you are in the programme, questions go through your dashboard. Before that, use our contact page and say that it is about the affiliate programme.
