Which Endon pendant should you buy?

Start with what it hangs over. Over a long table or island, the Endon Ridgeton 4 Light Linear is one 900mm bar on a single drop. Over a round table, the Marietta 5 Light is 500mm across and adjusts from 620mm to 2000mm. In a stairwell or under a double-height ceiling, the Marietta 16 Light Tiered needs at least 1020mm of drop and looks wasted anywhere smaller.

Under a 2.4m ceiling, keeping 2.1m clear where people walk leaves you 300mm. The Endon Cordero 3 Light and the Pipe 3 Light both start at 300mm. Over a table you can go longer, because nobody walks underneath.

Single pendants and pendant sets

Hanging a row of singles? The Ashcroft and Ridgeton are both 200mm across. The Eltham is a lampholder on braided flex, with no shade, so it suits a good-looking bulb, or choose it as a set with a Camellia, Carnation or Orchid glass shade.

Which UK retailers sell Endon pendant lights?

Are bulbs included with Endon pendant lights?

Not with most of them. The fittings on this page do not come with bulbs, apart from a small number with built-in LED. E14 is the most common cap, followed by E27, G9 and B22, and some have a low maximum wattage, so check the product page. For a warm room, start with a 2700K LED.
Is Endon lighting good quality?

For the money, yes, in our view. Most Endon pendants here list a two-year guarantee, and the drops and diameters are on every listing. Read the finish line as you would on any brand: the word plate means plated, as on the Marietta's antique brass plate, and that can look lovely. For solid brass or stone, you are looking at a different price.
Can Endon pendant lights be dimmed?

Most can. The large majority on this page are listed as dimmable, though you still need dimmable bulbs and an LED-rated dimmer. A few are listed as non-dimmable, including the Oslo pendants and the Prisma 30 Light, so read the dimming line on the product page before you wire one to a dimmer.
What size Endon pendant do I need?

Size it to what it hangs over. Over a round table, start at about half the table's diameter. In the middle of a room, add the length and width in metres and multiply by 8 for a diameter in centimetres. Endon lists the diameter and adjustable drop on each product page, and if you are caught between two sizes, take the larger.
How high should an Endon pendant hang?

Keep 2.1m clear wherever people walk, and hang the base 75 to 90cm above a table or worktop. Those are our starting points, not regulations. Then check the listing: under a 2.4m ceiling, a walkway leaves 300mm for the whole fitting, so the drop has to start at 300mm or less. The Cordero 3 Light does.
What guarantee do Endon pendant lights have?

Every fitting we sell has our 12-month guarantee, and many Endon pendants list a longer manufacturer's guarantee, most often two years and five on a few. The term is on each product page, so check it for the exact fitting. If something arrives damaged, email customer service within 48 hours with photos.
Can I get replacement glass for an Endon pendant?

Often, yes. Send our team the product code from your fitting and we can usually ask Endon for individual shades or parts, though not every part is supplied on its own. Some shades are sold separately anyway, such as the Camellia, Carnation and Orchid Easyfit glass shades, which are on their own product pages.
